The signatories who precede me have too well highlighted the advantages of the gun for which Mr. Lefaucheux is the inventor, for my opinion to carry any weight after theirs; however, I will add that the disadvantages of the heaviness and lack of elegance of the break-action guns no longer exist in the hinge-action gun; this weapon therefore seems to me the most suitable for the hunter, and I do not believe it is possible to do better.
