I have tried all the new invention guns for hunting, and I declare that the gun of Mr. Lefaucheux is the only one that has made me give up the old system; I have been using it for two years, and each day I appreciate its merits more and more, without recognizing any inconvenience; promptness and ease for loading, accuracy and range of the shot, absence of any danger resulting from the extreme simplicity of the mechanism; this weapon combines all the advantages that a hunter could desire. It is impossible that it will not be generally adopted, its superiority over all others is undeniable.
All the editors of the Paris newspapers have been called to witness Mr. Lefaucheux's experiments, and I do not know a single one who does not share the opinion that I have just expressed in all conscience.
