A. Pasquier, Chirurgien du roi et du prince royal - Testimonial
Description
To the advantages that belong to all guns that can be loaded from the back, the Lefaucheux gun adds the benefit of being in a form entirely similar to that of ordinary percussion guns. Therefore, there is almost no habit to change when adopting this system, except that it loads more surely, more conveniently, and faster, and that there is never a need to clean the weapon. Since the invention of the copper-based cartridge, the Lefaucheux gun no longer spits fire; thus, it is well demonstrated to me that it is today the most perfect weapon in existence.
